The Viking theme is done perfectly, not missing any elements that would make me second guess myself.
Basic and bold shapes are used neatly, and proportionately.
Blue Gray Brown. 3 main colours used = neat + looks like the colours are smartly used.
Not overdoing small details such as the cracks, and chips on the axe. Nice textures as well.
There is nothing I can think of to add or change.
Great job on the design! 5 STARS

Please use your wisdom to help critique my artwork, if you may. THANK YOU! :D
It would a great help to improve my drawings + design in general.

I like your Dragon theme!
It's a clever design, because all the dragon elements are here (claws, wings, reddish brown colour) so I can immediately recognise it's a dragon theme.
I like the main colours you used "Black, reddish brown, yellow" these colours used really pops out! Plus the simple shapes used fits nicely. You can immediately see what design part is where, without getting lost.
I especially liked dragon egg wand design.
There is one thing that I would change, and that is, change the belt into a red cloth like the scarf he is wearing. Or, change the scarf into something like his belt.
One last thing is, the belt could also be made out of gold? idk I feel the pants is not quite the same, as his chest armor.
But great design in the end!
I hope my advice has been helpful to you, and keep up the GREAT work! :D
I'll give you 5 STARS!
If it's alright with you, please help review my artwork, so I can become a better artist! thank you.

ZoranaArt responds:

Thank you very much for your review! :) I agree with you on the belt thing, it doesn't fit that much. But I don't know if it's in the rules to change it? This is my first time getting myself to join one of Jazzas competitions, so I'm not really aware what I can do and what I can't haha. But I guess you can't do that, because it would't be fair :D
But thank you once again for your review and voting! :)

I like your devil, Skull Jane theme!
I like the main colours you used "Black, Brown, White" these colours used really pops out, and the colouring used in different areas is good!
I especially like the spikey feel to your design, I can see that you made sure that your design have a lot of triangles, giving off that feeling of spikiness. Plus, both Jane's eyes and skull eyes are blue :)
But there are two things that "I" could change:
1) I would give her symbol on her hat (perhaps another skull symbol)
2) make the skull on her wand be made out of Crystals.
I hope my advice has been helpful to you, and keep up the GREAT work! XD
5 STARS!
please help rate my work as well

Natsum1 responds:

Thanks for the feedback~ I also looked at yours too sorry if I'm not the best at constructive criticism Haha...

I like your Fire, Volcanic theme!
I like the main colours you used "Red, yellow, brown" these colours used really pops out, and the colouring is GOOD!
I especially like the Wand and the moon, star symbols used :)
But there are two things that "I" would change:
I would give her a cape, and another symbol on her hat (maybe a Sun symbol could go well with the moon, star symbols you have already used)
I hope my advice has been helpful to you, and keep up the GREAT work! :D
5 STARS!

EnvyKat responds:

Thank you so much!

I like your Fallen, Darkness theme!
I like the main colours you used "Purple, Gray, Black" these colours used really pops out, and the colouring is so GOOD!
I especially like the theme, it's such a cool design :)
There are two things that "I" would change:
1) Change the Crystal design, it's too similar to the on in game.
2)Have the face area, have some gray goo coming out onto his scarf perhaps.
I hope my advice has been helpful to you, and keep up the GREAT work! :D
5 STARS!

Melonarmy responds:

i tried the goo but that looked awful so i decided to do it without that grey goo
and yeah that crystal looks really similar to the original because i copied it XP because i was too lazy to Design a new one XP

I like your Reaper/ Vampire Jane theme!
It's a clever design
I like the main colours you used "Black, yellowish light brown" these colours used really pops out, and the colouring is so GOOD! Plus the simple shapes used fits nicely. You can immediately see what design part is where, without getting lost.
I especially liked the sharp cloth design, fitting with the wand/weapon sharpness! The skulls too (ones on her hoodie and necklace) XD
There is one thing that I would change, and that is making the scythe/wand be made out of CRYSTALS. Because as you know, the other SuperSpellHeroes Jane wand design has a crystal. I think if the blade could be made of crystal
I hope my advice has been helpful to you, and keep up the GREAT work! :D
1.5 rating, WHAT!? I'll give you 5 STARS!

Cirtex responds:

Thanks!

what i did is i looked at Janes main costume and took it in for face value, which was a very Life and Nature kind of deal. So i took that and flipped it on it's head. Giving her a manic Grin, skulls, a scythe, the sharper clothing and some ragged, clawed gloves. Coloring was a bit of a challenge as any amount of Green that i put into the piece completely detracted from the piece. so what i did was i looked up Dead grass, used that as a base for my color scheme, kicked saturation in the head, and did zero hue shifting for the shading. this really tied it all together and really allowed me to deliver on what i was going for with this submission.

Oh my lord, I don't know how to review this one.
It's a clever design
I like the main colours you used "Purple, Blue, Gold" these colours used really pops out, and the colouring is so GOOD! Plus the simple shapes used fits nicely in the game art style.
There's not much I can suggest, because I'm not on your level, but I didn't think the cloth around his right hand is necessary.
I hope my advice has been helpful to you, and keep up the GREAT work! :D
5 STARS!

AntonFalk responds:

ay man thank you so much <3 really apreaciate the kind words. the reason i made the cloth around the hand was basically because i thought a plain leather glove with no secondary shapes or colours to it was a bit boring :P but yeah you might be right

I like your Deep sea Jane theme!
It's such clever design XD
I like the main colours you used "Purple, Blue, Green" these colours used really pops out, and the colouring is so GOOD! Plus the simple shapes used fits nicely.
I just noticed all the tentacles ends are pointing upwards. :3
I especially liked the anchor simples used throughout the character design! the symbol on her hoddie, necklace, and wand.
There is one thing that I would change, and that is making the tentacle grabbing/ holding the CRYSTAL. If you look at Jane's character design in the game, the plant Jane wand, you could see the crystal inside the plant. And with the normal Jane, her wand has a crystal
I hope my advice has been helpful to you, and keep up the GREAT work! :D
5 STARS!

I like your mysterious and fancy theme!
I like the main colours you used "Blue, yellow, black, white, brown" these colours used really pops out, and the colouring is so GOOD! Plus the shadings.
I especially the theme, it's such a clever design :)
There is two things that I would change, and that is to have the mask split in half, showing at least one part of the face. Another, is having a pet, perhaps a eagle would fit?
I hope my advice has been helpful to you, and keep up the GREAT work! :D
5 STARS!

RikoKiaririnkakinta responds:

wow thank you very much ^^ didn't expect to get much praise from the get go especially since the scanning quality is quite low.... for the pet part i though about merging it with the wand wasn't it noticeable? thx again ^^

I like your Evily, Skeleton, Witch theme!
It's a clever design
I like the main colours you used "Black, Brown, Green, Dark blue for skull and hands" these colours used really pops out, plus the simple shapes, and colours used fits nicely!
Something cool and unique about your design, is the hair and the cauldron. Furthermore the boots and gloves are done very good, with holes and the rough sharp edges, making it look old.
There is one thing that I would change, and that is making the potion by her waist become bigger. Because it's hard to see the potion that small.
I hope my advice has been helpful to you, and keep up the GREAT work! :D
